Institutional Open Science Policy of the University of Cyprus

Following its previous decision (Meeting No. 12/2022, 11 May 2022), and having taken note of the decisions of the Rector’s Council (Meeting No. 17/2026, 4 June 2026) and the Open Science Committee (Meeting No. 04/2026, 2 June 2026), the Senate, at its Meeting No. 12/2026 held on 10 June 2026, approved the revised Institutional Open Science Policy of the University of Cyprus.

The updated Policy reflects and incorporates international and European developments in the field of Open Science, with the aim of supporting the continuous advancement of science and its broad and equitable dissemination for the benefit of society through the adoption of good practices in open, reproducible, and responsible research.
